Witness the impossible true survival story of Titanic stoker Frederick Barrett. Working in the boiler rooms of the ship’s maiden voyage, Barrett’s fight for survival is one of the most devastating accounts of the last few hours of Titanic.
Boiler Room Six gives a voice to the sacrifice of the working men below deck who kept the ship afloat for as long as possible, saving hundreds of lives, whilst knowingly giving up on their own.
Boiler Room Six debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, selling out its entire run and winning the Derek Award for Best Overall Show of the festival. The production then enjoyed an international tour, playing from Dumfries to Dubai, before returning to take Edinburgh by storm once again in 2025 with ten five-star reviews.

Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds was designed and built in 1819 by William Wilkins. With many of its original features still intact, it is a superb example of a Regency playhouse and one of the most beautiful, intimate and historic theatres in the world.
