It revolutionised television with groundbreaking supermarionation puppetry and jaw-dropping miniature special effects. Audiences were hooked by high-stakes rescue missions, unforgettable futuristic vehicles like Thunderbird 2and Barry Gray’s iconic score.
Dee Anderson was at the heart of it - and is the only person on earth who can say this: "Lady Penelope was my mum." As the daughter of Sylvia and Gerry Anderson, Dee Anderson, lived and breathed the magic of Thunderbirdsas a child. She saw how Thunderbirds’ unmatched sense of heroic scale and futuristic wonder captivated generations worldwide.
And now she’s paying a heartfelt tribute to the boundless imagination and thrilling adventures that defined a generation. Gerry and Sylvia’s extraordinary legacy will come to life on stage like never before. It promises to be FAB.
