About this Business
Darney Barn is a newly converted, four-bedroom barn set on our family's working arable farm just six miles south of Bury St Edmunds. The barn sleeps nine guests, is dog-friendly and has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area making it ideal for family/friend or work groups visiting or working in the local area.
The accommodation includes two ensuite shower rooms and a separate family bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering, an enclosed patio with BBQ and covered area and parking for four cars. Bedding and towels are provided, along with tea, coffee and other basic cooking essentials. There is large internet-enabled TV and a fast wi-fi connection.
We have a travel cot and high chair for younger guests. The ground floor is all on one level and has proved popular for those with mobility issues, but all bedrooms are on the first floor, accessible only by stairs.
The barn is set within our farm, which has been in the family for over 100 years and guests have access to farm walks and local footpaths. The area is rural so ideal for those looking for somewhere quiet to stay.
