About this event
It’s de-lovely! Cole Porter’s joyful musical comedy is set on a 1930s ocean liner bound across the Atlantic, where a stowaway is pursuing the love of his life, an heiress engaged to a peer. He’s helped in the quest to win her by a nightclub singer and a conman – get ready for antics aplenty in this multi-award-winning show.
Set sail for show-stopping dance routines and an effervescent score including legendary songs: I Get A Kick Out of You, You’re the Top and of course, Anything Goes.
Music and lyrics by Cole Porter. Original book by P.G. Woodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse. New book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman.
This amateur production of ANYTHING GOES is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC
Local amateur group Irving Stage Company.
