About this event
This hilarious and deeply touching play is based on the true story of a group of Yorkshire WI members, who decide their annual calendar won’t show local beauty spots, but local beauties. When one of their husbands is diagnosed with cancer, they decide to defy the rules and pose nude to raise money for a settee in the hospital waiting room.

Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds was designed and built in 1819 by William Wilkins. With many of its original features still intact, it is a superb example of a Regency playhouse and one of the most beautiful, intimate and historic theatres in the world.
