Dragon Fest is a family fun day out at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village. Each year, the Anglo-Saxon Village is transformed into a world of Dragons, creatures and unique characters and this year the festival soars into its spectacular 10th anniversary!
This year’s highlights…
meet resident dragons, Brym and Snarl Junior, while enjoying the hilarious antics of Bring Out Your Dead Productions
immerse yourself in the legendary tale of Beowulf, brought to life by Quill and Inkling
get up close with prehistoric giants from Rent a Dinosaur. Try your hand at circus skills, archery, and axe throwing
indulge in delicious food and drink from a variety of stalls
relax and recharge with wellbeing sessions and practitioners—plus so much more still to come!
And new for 2025! Witness the awakening of a brand-new, awe-inspiring four meter-long dragon by the Anglo-Saxon villagers.

Booking: Advance booking closes at 12pm on Friday 20 June. Tickets can be purchased on the door subject to availability.
About the Venue
One of England's great archaeological sites, West Stow has extensive indoor galleries and a stunning recreation of an Anglo-Saxon village surrounded by unspoilt countryside.
West Stow Country Park features 125 acres of woods, heathlands, a river and a lake, plus nature trails, walks and an adventure playground.
Visitors to West Stow can explore history and nature, watch a film, dress up as an Anglo-Saxon or say hello to the rare breed pigs and chickens.
As part of the annual RingQuest event, you could even meet a Hobbit, among other Lord of the Rings characters!
West Stow regularly hold living history and event days, workshops, walks and talks, these sites and their events bring history to life.
