About this event
Eman Alsaffar's exhibition showcases an art form which involves the substituting of different parts of a design or image with coloured pieces of wood.
Each piece is finely cut from various types and colours of natural wood inlaid together neatly and perfectly, to create an intricate storytelling image, scenery or a shape.
The woods are from trees such as sour orange’s wood, jujube wood, Berberi’s wood, walnut wood and more.
Opening hours:
Mondays to Saturdays - 9.30-4.30pm and Sundays 10.30am-4pm
Occasionally, the Art Gallery is closed to the public. If you are travelling specifically to see an exhibition, please call the box office on 01284 758000 before your visit.
The Apex Gallery is situated on the first floor. Drinks bought from the cafe in the foyer can be taken upstairs, so feel free to relax on the sofas with a drink and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The vast majority of works on display are for sale. For further information, please ask at the box office.
