About this event
Join the Crafty Foxes for a fun filled Halloween crafty kids workshop.
Make your own personalised Halloween tote bag to put all your ‘trick or treat’ sweeties in. You’ll also make a Halloween glow lantern to guide you on your way later in the evening when it gets dark.
You’re very welcome to come in fancy dress too!
All materials supplied as well as an apron. Children will take home their tote bag and glow lantern, which includes a battery tea light in the price.
Duration: 90 minutes
Maximum of 12 places available. Suitable for ages 6+.
Please note, children must be dropped off and then collected at the end of the session. However, the workshop will take place in The Apex’s lounge area, so parents, grand-parents and carers are very welcome to be within sight of their little ones. Grown-ups, why not grab a hot drink and a Halloween cake from the café and relax, whilst the little ones have fun making?
About the Venue
The Apex is an award-winning venue, known for its acoustic excellence and home to a diverse programme of live music and events; from classical concerts to pop, rock, jazz, blues, world, country and folk, plus comedy and dance performances.
It also hosts a number of community and corporate events, offering the local community and wider environs a unique and exciting space from which visitors can see a great selection of artists, bands and events.
It has been very well publicised (and we never tire of hearing it!) that, as well as its architectural beauty, The Apex also has the very best acoustics, with many musicians who've played here describing it as the best acoustic in the UK, if not Europe:
"Best new venue in the UK. Absolutely superb" - Funeral For A Friend
"Best acoustic wee had in 40 years of touring" - Fairport Convention
"The best hall we have ever played in" - The Escher String Quartet
