This August bank holiday weekend come and meet Wuffa as they occupy the Anglo-Saxon Village bringing a mix of crafts and weaponry displays.
Wuffa Viking and Saxon Re-enactment Society is a group of like minded individuals from all walks of life, dedicated to learning and living the ways of the early medieval period.
They specialise in the dark age period that was dominated by the ferocious 'Vikings' and brutal Saxons. Their members range in experience from those just starting out to thirty year veterans. Enjoy all parts of the dark age lifestyle including combat, but also day to day life, such as cooking, blacksmithing, tailoring, music and much more.

No Dogs permitted in the village (registered assistance dogs only)
Children age 14 & under must be accompanied by an adult over 18

About the Venue
One of England's great archaeological sites, West Stow has extensive indoor galleries and a stunning recreation of an Anglo-Saxon village surrounded by unspoilt countryside.
West Stow Country Park features 125 acres of woods, heathlands, a river and a lake, plus nature trails, walks and an adventure playground.
Visitors to West Stow can explore history and nature, watch a film, dress up as an Anglo-Saxon or say hello to the rare breed pigs and chickens.
As part of the annual RingQuest event, you could even meet a Hobbit, among other Lord of the Rings characters!
West Stow regularly hold living history and event days, workshops, walks and talks, these sites and their events bring history to life.
