Do you have the skills of Sherlock Holmes, Cadfael or Miss Marple? Then we need your help!
There’s been a murder in the Anglo-Saxon Village and a gaggle of suspects has been gathered and are dotted around the scene waiting to tell their version of the story.
They all could be guilty, but there’s only one of them whodunnit. Put together a team of your best puzzle-solvers and come along to this dramatic murder mystery event at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village. You’ll hear the characters give their testimonials and see if you can deduce who the killer really is!
Performance duration: 1 hr approx. with time to deduce the killer after the performance.
Suitable for ages 8+
Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied.
Meet at the Visitor Centre
Please note this is an outdoor, walkabout event - ensure that your team is wearing suitable footwear & clothing
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Dogs are not permitted in the Saxon Village (Assistance dogs only)
The cost of this event is heavily subsidised due to the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, who support the Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape partnership scheme to facilitate inclusive engagement opportunities).

Times: 4.30pm and 7pm
Ticket price: £5 per person, teams of 6 (must contain a minimum of 1 adult over 18)
Should you not be able to get a group of 6 together you're able to join up with another group on the day.
About the Venue
One of England's great archaeological sites, West Stow has extensive indoor galleries and a stunning recreation of an Anglo-Saxon village surrounded by unspoilt countryside.
West Stow Country Park features 125 acres of woods, heathlands, a river and a lake, plus nature trails, walks and an adventure playground.
Visitors to West Stow can explore history and nature, watch a film, dress up as an Anglo-Saxon or say hello to the rare breed pigs and chickens.
As part of the annual RingQuest event, you could even meet a Hobbit, among other Lord of the Rings characters!
