About this event
Every day is the same for Rapunzel. She gazes from her tower and dreams of the world beyond…but today is different…today she’ll escape.
Pursued by a wicked witch, a talking dog and a love-sick shepherd, Rapunzel’s journey takes her in search of the one thing that can save her: a Golden Tulip. Join the theatre in 2025 for magic, mayhem and more sheep than you can shake a stick at!

Cast:
Theatre Royal are delighted to welcome back Lizzie Buckingham as Jinx, previously Camilla The Camel in Aladdin (24/25) and Corky The Corgi in Snow White (23/24); Ruby Ablett as Lassie, previously Washy in Aladdin (24/25) and Ewan Grant as Sammy, previously Rob The Bakers Boy in Robin Hood (22/23). Theatre Royal also have four new faces joining the cast of Rapunzel and they can’t wait to welcome them in just under eight weeks time.

Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds was designed and built in 1819 by William Wilkins. With many of its original features still intact, it is a superb example of a Regency playhouse and one of the most beautiful, intimate and historic theatres in the world.
