RoomsFest 2026

An eclectic lineup of artists come together for local rehearsal space fundraiser in Bury St Edmunds.

About this event

RoomsFest announces its return with a community driven live music festival at The Rehearsal Rooms and Hunter Club Arts Centre, Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 26th September 2026, from 12:00pm. This year’s event features a highly eclectic lineup spanning multiple genres, with the aim of raising money for The Rehearsal Rooms, a vital space that keeps the local music scene alive.

In a powerful display of community solidarity, all artists, performers and event contributors are giving up their time for free to make this event happen. Money generated from the event will go directly towards upgrading and maintaining the local rehearsal studios, ensuring grassroots musicians will continue to be able to use the space for many years to come.

With a diverse lineup across three stages, including BBC Introducing ones to watch Arthur Black, hardcore cuties Hello Kitty Funland, Bury St Edmunds vagabonds Thy Last Drop and 80s Goth legends 13th Chime, RoomsFest deliberately aims to bring together and showcase the broad spectrum of different musical genres coming out of this incredible local scene.

The Rehearsal Rooms owner Neil Attridge says “The thought of having another RoomsFest this year is amazing, not just because it brings together the local music scene but because it gives a lifeline to The Rehearsal Rooms and enables us to stay open and provide the best service we can. Everyone has pulled together giving a tremendous amount of effort into making RoomsFest 26 ultra inclusive.”

RoomsFest also aims to raise awareness of the reopening of grassroots music venue Hunter Club Arts Centre following a 6 months closure and refurbishment. Events Manager Alec Jarman says “It’s great to be involved with RoomsFest again this year, we’re chuffed to be working alongside The Rehearsal Rooms to celebrate two neighbouring independent businesses supporting grassroots music.”

Tickets are priced at £17.50 for adults and £15.00 for students. The event is 14+ (Under 18s accompanied by parent or carer). Tickets are on sale now at www.hunterclub.co.uk.
