About this event
Ryan Harvey doesn’t write songs to be liked—he writes them because the truth doesn’t disappear just because you survived it.
A combat veteran and mental health advocate, Harvey’s music lives in the space between being seen and being forgotten. His songs confront the silences we carry: the weight of unsaid goodbyes, the sting of rehearsed abandonment, and the ache of unfinished stories.
Originally from the shores of Lake Michigan, Ryan has found a second home in the creative heart of East Anglia. Now based in Suffolk, he brings a unique transatlantic voice to the UK’s independent music scene—writing from the back corner of the bar, where memory and myth blur and every lyric feels like a secret told too late. His latest release, River Ghosts, isn’t just an EP—it’s a reckoning. A haunting document of belief, loss, and the brutal honesty that lives in the aftermath.
Emma Goodman will be opening for Ryan, Emma is an accomplished vocalist and performer who has become a familiar face on stages across Suffolk, from vibrant bar gigs and open mic nights to curated music events. Her eclectic setlist draws from the1980s to today, blending acoustic intimacy with the edge of alternative, rock, and pop. With a naturally expressive voice and a broad musical taste, Emma connects effortlessly with audiences, bringing both heart and energy to every performance.
