About this event

This year we have planned a pilgrimage linking Suffolk’s saints who brought alive the Christian inheritance which has shaped so much of our county’s cultural and architectural landscape.

Our Saint Botolph pilgrimage is a six-day walk from 4-9 May.

Saint Botolph was an East Anglian noble living in the seventh century, some two hundred years before Saint Edmund. This Pilgrimage in inspired by him and begins in Dunwich before setting off to Snape Maltings. The journey ends at St Edmundsbury Cathedral in time for a special Ascension Day service.

A full programme is available here.

Booking form here.

(The form and 25% deposit payable must be returned before 11 March, to Pilgrimage 2024, Cathedral Office, Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds IP33 1LS or emailed to precentor@stedscathedral.org)
