As the Abbeygate Cinema celebrates its centenary, this is the story of its very own history and fight for survival against many obstacles on the way.
Abbeygate Cinema is a delightfully charming and unique cinema located within the heart of the historic sector of Bury St Edmunds.
Pat Church has worked at the cinema for more than 55 years, Pat knows the fabric of the building like no other and has many a story to tell.
