About this event
They’re creepy and they’re kooky, mysterious and spooky… In the upside-down world of the Addams Family, to be sad is to be happy, to feel pain is to joy, and death and suffering is the stuff of dreams! But even this quirky family must deal with the challenges of their children growing up! Yes, the original ‘Princess of Darkness’ Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a sweet boy from a normal, respectable Ohio family — the most un-Addams sounding person one could be! And to make matters worse, she has invited the Beinekes to their home for dinner. In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.
The Addams Family Musical is a story of love and friendship through adversity, with a comical and macabre, yet poignant spin and is brought to you by Suffolk Young People’s Theatre. Suffolk Young People’s Theatre is one of Suffolk’s longest-standing theatrical summer schools giving opportunities for high-quality public performance for youngsters across the region.
Come and join us for an ooky spooky evening with Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday and the whole gang!
