The Angel's Underground Supper Clubs made waves when they kicked them off back in 2021 - often selling out within minutes.
We serve an inventive menu of small plates, designed for sharing, and priced between £7 and £14. Think three cheese arancini with celeriac puree, king prawns with salt-baked parsnip and Thai sauce, and crispy chilli beef with Asian 'slaw.
Cocktails are punchy, the playlist is funky, and the atmosphere is intimate and fun.
We often collaborate with wine makers and suppliers for these events and when we do there are some interesting wines from lesser-known regions available in measures as small as 75ml.
Dubbed Suffolk's "original and most exclusive Supper Club", this is one not to be missed.

About the Venue
This Georgian ivy clad AA Red Star* boutique hotel and restaurant in Suffolk surprises with a twist of urban chic. Our Suffolk hotel is right in the centre of Bury St Edmunds town centre and everything is just a step from here.
Explore winding, cobbled, shop filled streets and a plethora of ancient architecture on the doorstep. Once inside, the Angel Hotel is a curious contrast of comfy contemporary design with touches of exotic grandeur.
Warm leather sofas vie for your company in the lounge, which is filled with curiosities, pop art, eccentric oddities and cool vintage furniture.
It is a hotel of many different aspects all artfully blended together into an exciting package and the bedrooms are no exception. The Angel Eaterie restaurant has a great reputation and dining here is a culinary treat.
Dog Friendly accommodation is available. Dogs are not allowed in the Eaterie restaurant or bar area, but they are allowed in the large lounge.
