About this event

This November, The Leaping Hare Restaurant at Wyken Vineyards, nestled in the Suffolk countryside near Bury St Edmunds, invites diners to its highly anticipated annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

Each year, they bring the time-honoured tradition of Thanksgiving to life, combining American culinary classics with the farm’s sustainable, closed-loop system. The centrepiece of this year’s dinner will be Heritage Turkeys, raised in a small Suffolk flock, pan-smoked over grape vine prunings from Wyken’s vineyards. These will be served with cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, and a medley of vegetables from the restaurant’s kitchen garden. For dessert, Southern Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Pecan Pie will be served with ice cream

Carla's dedication to sustainable farming is evident across the menu. The Wyken Estate operates a closed farming system, ensuring that all produce is sourced locally, minimising waste and environmental impact while supporting the region’s agricultural community.

  • Three courses, followed by tea and coffee
  • Price: £55 per person

There is just one rule: Save room for pie!
