The Bull Hotel, Long Melford, was built over 570 years ago back in 1450. It became an inn welcoming guests in 1570, and has been so ever since. Thanks to its heritage and styling, you’ll find the Bull Hotel offers a uniquely historic experience. Did you know that John Lennon & Yoko Ono once stayed in their beautiful Bridal Suite?
The timber-framed exterior is a well-known local landmark today, whilst inside the hotel you’ll find plenty of traditional décor, from an open fire in the restaurant and bar to traditional grille windows. Each of the 25 bedrooms are distinctively decorated and contain historic features and furniture, including gorgeous four-poster beds.
The Bull Hotel resides in the beautiful Suffolk village of Long Melford. The hotel is surrounded by rolling countryside and nature, with local attractions including Melford Hall and Melford Country Park, as well as a selection of fantastic walks and cycling paths. It’s also a short journey from Bury St Edmonds, Colchester and Cambridge too, putting you in easy access of historic sites, great shopping, cultural attractions and more.
