Paying tribute to Maria Broadbent
This week we heard the very sad news about the passing of Maria Broadbent, former Board member of Bury St Edmunds and Beyond.
Maria was a tremendous vocal supporter of growing the tourism economy in Bury St Edmunds and of the benefits that having a distinct visitor brand and national digital marketing campaigns would bring to town centre businesses.

She was there at the launch of the Bury St Edmunds and Beyond DMO in September 2017 and remained on the Board until the tourism brand became part of Our Bury St Edmunds BID. While Chair of BID, she continued to contribute ideas and her time to our campaigns and projects.
We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends at this very sad time.
