The Fox Inn
The cosy Fox Inn is offering a fantastic three course set menu with a glass of welcome Prosecco to set the meal off with a sparkle. Feast, toast and be jolly as you tuck into this thoughtfully curated menu complete with the most delectable roast of the season.
Choose from starters including cheese and chive souffle, pack smoked salmon and pan-fried scallops and a hearty winter vegetable and barley soup complete with crispy onions. Of course, the main course offers roast turkey with indulgent duck fat roasted potatoes, pigs in blankets, apricot and apple stuffing, maple-glazed carrots and all the rest of the veg. Other options for the main course include prosciutto wrapped cod loin, herb and black pepper crusted fillet steak and cranberry glazed nut roast.
Round the meal off with something sweet; choose from orange and rum Basque cheese cake, refreshing after dinner mint sphere, cherry parfait bauble and of course good old Christmas pud.
The 3-course set menu with a glass of Prosecco on arrival is £75 per adult, and £25 for children.

Ravenwood Hall Hotel
The grand Ravenwood Hall Hotel welcomes guests on Christmas day for a special meal to remember. This indulgent five course feast takes you journey through the set menu of carefully curated flavours. Served between 12pm - 2.30pm in the restaurant and 12.30pm in The Pavilion.
Start with leek and potato soup and bacon lardons with fresh bread, move onto the fish course and enjoy salmon gravlax with caper remoulade, rocket and lemon. Then comes the butter roasted Norfolk turkey with chestnut stuffing, roast potatoes, glazed Brussels sprouts and giblet gravy. The dessert is almost Dickensian; traditionally steamed plum pudding with clotted cream ice cream and brandy snap crumbles followed by minted cream chocolate fudge to finish the meal.
Priced at £100 per adult, £50 per child (under 12), under 3's are free in the restaurant and £75 per adults, £35 per child (under 12), under 3's free in The Pavilion.

Old Cannon Brewery
The Old Cannon Brewery offers jollity in abundance this Christmas day with a yummy Christmas menu with a contemporary twist! Choose from panko breaded brie, pan-fried scallops and smoked salmon mousse to start. Follow this with roasted duck breast with cherry, almonds and red wine or perhaps seared stone bass with chorizo, saffron potatoes and salsa verde, or of course go down the traditional route with roasted turkey, all the trimmings and even a new take on the controversial sprouts- sauteed.
For dessert, the blackberry and port cheesecake is very tempting indeed, as is the lime posset with a lime and mint salsa and whipped cream. Or go savoury with a Christmas cheeseboard, perhaps with a little glass or port to finish the meal.

The Black Lion
The Historic Black Lion in Long Melford is a warm and traditional setting for a festive celebration. Start off with some snacks to get tempt your appetite with smoked haddock & Dill Croquette with parmesan & chilli jam, ham hock & prune terrine and vegan sausage roll with cranberry & apple hot sauce. Move onto starters which include artichoke soup with vegan pesto and crispy shallots, smoked Suffolk duck breast with Waldorf salad and chalk stream trout crumpet served with beetroot ketchup, creme fraiche and cucumber.
The main of course includes the traditional roast Shalford turkey and all the trimmings, including pigs in blankets, stuffing and maple glazed root veg. You can also opt for roast halibut, lions mane mushroom steak or even Barsham Stout Robin braised Hereford Short Rib with truffle mash.

The Grapes
Book your table for Christmas day at The Grapes, and you’ll be sure of a warm welcome. Tucked away in the village of Barrow in the Suffolk countryside, The Weeping Willow welcomes you on Christmas day with a festive menu featuring all your yuletide favourites from turkey, to crispy roasties and cranberry sauce.
The 5-course menu starts with snacks of smoked haddock & dill croquette, ham hock and prune terrine and pumpkin sausage roll. Starts to choose from include Jerusalem artichoke soup, smoked Suffolk duck breast and chalk steam trout bellinis.
For your main there's Barsham ale braised Hereford short rib, with truffle Mash and roasted roscoff onion; Lion's mane mushroom steak with pickled heritage carrots, beetroot terrine and Norfolk Brussel tops; Roast halibut with celeriac purée, potato rosti and anchovy emulsion; and Roast Shalford turkey with pigs in blankets, chestnut apricot sage stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy. The table will also be served with sprouts, roast potatoes and honey glazed seasonal roots.
