Bury St Edmunds Fireworks Night 2025 - Saturday 1 November
Get ready for a sparkling night to remember as Bury St Edmunds’ Abbey Gardens light up with a spectacular fireworks display in support of St Nicholas Hospice Care. This much-loved community event is organised by St Edmundsbury Theatre Services, St Nicholas Hospice Care, and Bury St Edmunds Town Council.
Gates open at 5pm (via the Abbey Gate), with the fireworks set to dazzle from 7.30pm. Visitors can enjoy an evening filled with live music from Stagecoach Bury St Edmunds and Slim Pickin’s Live & Seated, family-friendly entertainment, fairground rides, and a tempting selection of food and drink stalls — all set against the stunning backdrop of the historic Abbey Gardens. Every ticket sold helps St Nicholas Hospice Care continue its vital work supporting local people and families.
Tickets are available now via Ticketsource: £7.50 for adults, £5 for children, or £20 for a family (plus booking fee) — or £10 on the gate, subject to availability. Advance booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Bury St Edmunds RUFC - Friday 7 November
Get ready for a night of spectacular fireworks and family fun as Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club hosts its annual Fireworks Night on Friday 7 November 2025 at The Greene King IPA Haberden. This much-anticipated community event promises an unforgettable evening packed with mouth-watering food and drink stalls, fairground rides, and entertainment for all ages.
Gates open at 6pm, with the dazzling display set to begin at 7.30pm. Take advantage of Early Bird tickets at just £6 per person or £20 for a family of four (over six years old), available until 31 October 2025 – with under-6s going free! After that, tickets will be £10 online or on the gate (no family tickets available on the gate). Please note there is no on-site parking, so attendees are encouraged to walk if local or use Rougham Lorry Park as an alternative.

Horringer Fireworkds & Bonfire Night Display - Friday 7 November
Join the village of Horringer, just outside Bury St Edmunds, for a sparkling evening of community spirit at the Horringer Fireworks Display on Friday 7 November. Taking place at the Ickworth Park Gates, this family-friendly bonfire night promises an unforgettable experience with mesmerising fireworks, delicious food and drink, and a welcoming village atmosphere.
Gates open at 6pm, with the fireworks display set to begin around 7pm. Tuck into classic autumn treats including hot dogs, beef burgers, mulled wine, and hot chocolate as you enjoy the festivities.
Entry is £5 for adults (16+), with free admission for under-16s. Please note that cash payments are preferred, and while contactless payment is available, no on-site parking is provided — visitors are encouraged to walk where possible. For safety, no sparklers or pets are allowed, but glow sticks will be on sale to light up the night.

Celebrate Bonfire Night in spectacular style at the Food Museum’s annual Bonfire Night Celebrations in Stowmarket on Saturday 8 November – proudly named one of the top Bonfire Night events in the UK by Time Out.
Set against the charming backdrop of the museum’s historic grounds, this much-loved event promises a magical evening of fireworks, a traditional roaring bonfire, fairground rides, food trucks, and even a steam engine. With more than 10 fantastic local food vendors serving everything from hog roasts and loaded fries to poke bowls, mac and cheese, pizza, coffee, and cake, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Gates open at 5.30pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7pm, and the fireworks will dazzle the skies from 7.30pm. Early bird tickets are available until 20 October (£7 adults, £4 children aged 4–16, under 3s free), with standard prices applying thereafter.
