About this event
Virtuoso violinist Nigel Kennedy returns for his first – and biggest - UK tour in over ten years.
The world’s best-selling violinist will be celebrating his 70th birthday in 2026 and is as fresh and entertaining as ever.
This will be a unique evening of classical, jazz, and contemporary repertoire from the UK’s greatest living violinist. Expect breath-taking Bach, alongside the most delicate rendition you will ever hear of ‘A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square’. Nigel’s own compositions will feature, including a moving tribute to Yehudi Menuhin and Stephane Grappelli, who taught, mentored and inspired him during his early years. Nigel will also perform on the piano, which may surprise some but will delight all, as his virtuosic talent knows no bounds.
Accompanied by his great friends Alec Dankworth (son of the late John Dankwork and Cleo Laine) on double bass; and Peter Adams on ‘cello, this is a rare opportunity to witness one of the greatest virtuoso musicians this country has ever produced.
“One of the most important violinists Britain has ever produced” - The Guardian
“A brilliant musician” – Kate Bush
“An inspiration to the musicians of tomorrow and today” - Robert Plant
“Like a breath of fresh air” - George Martin
Starts: 7.30pm
Tickets: £51.50
