Where to See Santa in Bury St Edmunds

Santa always makes time to stop off at the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Lights Event to meet families at the beginning of the build up to Christmas.

Brought to you by Bury St Edmunds Round Table, you can stop by and see Santa on his sleigh at the event at the FREE to attend event on Thursday November 19 from 3pm to 8pm.

Father Christmas and his elves are coming to Nowton Park this year!

Visit him in his grotto on December 12 and 13, listen to his stories and receive a special present.

Visit Santa in his living room at the Theatre Royal Christmas Cabin in the arc Shopping Centre this Christmas. The perfect way to kick off Christmas for little people aged 2-7.

Santa’s been busy preparing for Christmas Eve: loading the sleigh with presents, topping up the carrots when he realises… his suit is missing! Maybe Mother Christmas, Rudolph or the Christmas Fairy have seen it? Time is running out! Can you help Santa find his suit? Join us for this interactive, festive performance, perfect for 2-7 year olds and their grown-ups. We can’t wait to see you there!

Neurodivergent or SEN? Come to one of our relaxed performances every Saturday morning at 10am. Who Stole Santa’s Suit?! has been created to be suitable for a SEN audience so all shows are fun, calm and magical but our relaxed performances have a reduced capacity.

Father Christmas is taking a break from his workshop and making an early stop off at West Stow, so why not take the opportunity to have a festive chat and a family picture?!

The friendly team of elves will be on hand to ensure you have a wonderful experience on the 5th and 6th December. 

Your ticket also includes a festive craft workshop, as well as FREE entry to explore Anglo-Saxon village and museum. You can also enjoy festive food and drink from our onsite cafe.

Step into a North Pole village filled with Christmas fun, with the return of Santa's Grotto at Dobbies Garden Centre in Bury St Edmunds from 22 November-24 December.

Experience the magic of Santa's Grotto as you journey through the village. Little ones can enjoy a range of festive activities before meeting Santa and receiving a special gift to remember their visit.

Children can make a wish in our enchanted wishing well before entering through the magic door to the North Pole village.

They’ll take part in various activities in our Grotto ‘shops’, ending at our Penguin Post Office.

Each family can enjoy dedicated time with Santa to share their Christmas wishes and all children with a ticket will receive a special collectable penguin soft toy in a presentation bag to take home as a memento and gift from Santa.

There’ll be photo opportunities available throughout the experience, as well as the chance to take a professional, printed photo with Santa with reduced rates at the time of booking.
