West Stow Pods
If you're looking for somewhere completely unique to stay, the West Stow Glamping Pods will definitely be for you! The glamping site is located within West Stow Country Park, with pods nestled amongst the woodland.
There are 4 cosy megapods; each sleeping 4, they are equipped with a double bed, a double sofa bed, dining table and chairs, digital TV and DVD player, wet room with shower, basin and toilet, kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, picnic table and chairs and a brick BBQ. Simply bring along your bedding, towels and food and make yourself at home! Or you could opt for the Woodland Lodge; it features all of the same features as the megapod, but there are two bedrooms with a double bed and bunk beds.
For a truly unique experience, book the Pod Hollow! A subterranean halfling inspired dwelling, built into the side of a grassy knoll. It boasts two double-bedrooms with king-size beds, sitting room with couch and fireplace, shower room with shower, basin and toilet, fully-fitted kitchen with dishwasher, oven and wine rack and free wifi!

The Four Bells Glamping

The site is a great base for walking, cycling, fishing and visiting the historic town if Bury St Edmunds, the wool towns of Lavenham, Long Melford and Clare and the pretty villages within the surrounding area.
The pods are fully equipped, insulated with heating, running water and electric, and the 3 larger pods also have their own toilet and wash basin. There is a spacious toilet and shower block on site too - All you need to bring along is food, drinks, personal washing items, charcoal for the barbeques and fishing equipment if you wish to fish for carp, roach and rudd!

Wigwam Holidays at Maglia Rosso
Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, cyclists and families, Wigwam Holidays at Maglia Rosso boasts a glamping site with 6 cabins, a Cycle Centre and Country Café, in the village of Hawstead, just four miles South of Bury St Edmunds.
The 6 glamping cabins are situated in the 5 acre meadow south facing for the sun to shine in all day long. The Wigwam Holidays cabins each have their own en suite shower room, kitchenette and a double bed and double sofa bed. One of the cabins is wheelchair accessible with a wet room and kitchenette. Suitable for those looking for a Suffolk countryside getaway, well insulated for stays all year round it is the perfect weekend away for the whole family and also dog friendly.

Brighthouse Farm, Bury St Edmunds
The 6-acre campsite at Brighthouse Farm is a family-friendly site with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Facilities include male and female toilet blocks, four combination units with shower, wash basin and toilet, four large walk-in showers.
There are walks from the campsite to the main village where you will find a village shop and pub, which serves good food and guest ales. Dogs are welcome at the campsite too, and can enjoy the 1.5-mile farm walk which is exclusive to guests.
The Dell Caravan Park
Located in Thurston, just a few miles outside of Bury St Edmunds in the suffolk countryside, The Dell Caravan Park has 50 pitches for camping and touring.
Facilities include modern toilet blocks with showers with shaving points and hair dryers, an under 7s room with bath, disabled toilet and shower, laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier, vegetable prep and washing up area, ice pack freezer, mains electric hook up points and free wifi!
The village of Thurston is about a mile away and boasts a post office, general store, garage/filling station, pub, hotel, vet and railway line with services to Cambridge and Ipswich.
Dogs are welcome at the park but are required to be kept on a lead, but there are plenty of places to explore in the six acre site surrounded by trees and fields.
Kings Forest Holidays
Kings Forest Holiday Park is situated at Wideham Farm, 5 miles from Bury St Edmunds.
The peaceful, adult only site has standard non-electric and electric hook up pitches for touring caravans, large motorhomes and RVs. Facilities include a toilet and shower block with washing up and vegetable prep area. Dogs are welcome to join you during your stay but must be kept on a lead.
The park is sits alongside Kings Forest so there's miles of beautiful forest to explore on foot, bicycle or horseback. The Anglo Saxon Village and Lackford Lakes are closeby; a haven for birdwatchers and history enthusiasts.
The Willows
The Willows campsite is located next to RAF Mildenhall, so you can sit in watch in awe as some of the Stratotankers and Hercules fly past!
The campsite has toilets, showers with hand basins and shaving points, electric hook ups, washing up facilities and wifi. If you would like to arrive and put your feet with without having to pitch your tent, then book the camping pod, with enough room to sleep a family of four.
Mill Farm
The campsite at is set on a 40-acre working farm near Hengrave, with a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location.
Find your pitch on the stream-side meadow overlooking the valley of the River Lark and enjoy a peaceful stay in your caravan or motorhome. The site and pitch facilities include showers and toilets, a riverside picnic corner, battery charging points, electric hook ups and recycling facilities. This is an adult only site and dogs are welcome on leads.
During your stay, take a walk along the riverside public footpath which follows the water upstream to Bury St Edmunds, enjoy a round of pay and play golf in the next village or a spot of course fishing.
Bright Meadow Caravan Park
Located in the heart of the idyllic Suffolk Countryside just 4.5 miles outside of Bury St Edmunds, Bright Meadow Caravan Park has 50 widely spaced pitches across six acres of ground, surrounded by trees and fields.
The local village of Thurston is a mile away, with a post office, general store, garage/filling station, pub, hotel, vet and railway line that serves both Cambridge and Ipswich.
