Dog friendly Midgar is an independent cafe serving good coffee, tasty toasties, scrumptious homebaked treats within a friendly, cosy and tranquil atmosphere. We're located on St John's Street, a road full of character with many independent shops just off the main shopping square of Bury St Edmunds.

Edmundo Lounge
Located just off the market square in Bury St Edmunds, Edmundo Lounge welcomes you and your dog for brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks.
It's a great place to rest your feet after a morning visiting the town's historical hot spots and shops. Settle down on a comfy chair in a quiet corner with your dog and order from the varied menu which features dishes including buttermilk fried chicken, macaroni cheese, goan vegetable curry, burgers, salads and tapas. There is an extensive vegan menu too and all dietary requirements are catered for.
Oakes Barn
This award-winning pub in St Andrew's Street South welcomes well-behaved dogs. Not only can you get a great homemade meal using seasonal and local produce wherever possible, but your dog will be welcome at Oakes Barn Pub too.
Since opening in 2013, they have been featured in the Good Beer Guide and have been the winner of town pub, community pub from CAMRA and various other local awards.
Really Rather Good
If you love coffee, then you will love Really Rather Good; an independent cafe located on Angel Hill serving a wide range of coffees and teas, complimented by a menu of sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads and cakes.
Beverages on the menu include Americanos, Cappucinos, Cortados, Rooibos tea and Earl Grey. Dogs are welcome to sit with you inside the cafe and outside, where you can sit and watch the world go by and take in the stunning views of the Abbey Gardens and Cathedral.
No5 Angel Hill
Dogs are welcome at No5 Angel Hill with indoor and outside seating available, overlooking the historic Abbey Gate.
Caffe Nero
There are two Caffè Nero’s in the town on Abbeygate Street and the Cornhill both of which welcome dogs and their owners. Both establishments serve a wide variety of coffees and teas, plus cakes, pastries and sandwiches.

Wagging tails will always be welcome through the door of the Weeping Willow in Barrow. So much so, that they have created a special dog menu, with your four-legged companion in mind.
Their special doggy areas include the bar, snug, raspberry room and of course anywhere in their large garden. They even have a Dog Menu - choose from soft chews, squishy treats or even a cooked sausage from the kitchen!
Team members are always on hand with doggy treats and tips for the best dog walks in the area.
