Rede Hall Farm Park

Rede Hall Farm Park is a working farm, predominantly for Suffolk horses. We work, train and breed the horses plus train people to drive them for taking their driving test. Our main attraction is two red brick and flint traditional holiday cottages which we have tried to fulfill with everything our guests might require. Both cottages are four star rated and fully self contained. As well as weekly bookings we also have short breaks of Monday to Friday and Friday to Monday.

Jenny Wren Cottage has two ground floor double bedrooms and a galleried twin room accessed by a wrought iron spiral staircase with twin beds and its own separate sitting room and TV. The main sitting room has traditional flints on two walls and one of the bedrooms also has a flint wall. The patio outside has garden furniture, BBQ and a Hot Spa Tub which is shared by the two cottages.

Nuthatch Cottage has two ground floor double bedrooms en suite, one with a four poster bed and a single bed in a galleried play room, also accessed by a wrought iron spiral staircase. Again there is a patio and BBQ and the shared spa tub. All bedding and towels are supplied in both cottages plus all the usual amenities that are required.

Outside is a children's play house and swing and well behaved dogs are also welcome. We have farm walks to exercise your dog (or children!) to see the horses but we request dogs are kept on a lead as we have several birds and animals roaming freely.

The horses are out in the fields in the summer but come in during the winter. These are the very rare Suffolk Punch which are categorised as grade one on the Rare Breed Survival Trust list therefore critically endangered. We are in an ideal position to visit Ickworth Park with its wonderful grounds and National Trust buildings, beautiful Bury St Edmunds with its Cathedral, Abbey Gardens and street market, Lavenham, Cambridge, Newmarket and easily accessble for the Suffolk coast for a day out.
